SLJ day 4, A1 The awaiata

My favourite awaiata was Aotearoa by Stan Walker.

I like the beat, singing and the sounds of the maori language. It makes want to learn the song so I can sing it myself.
I like the video clip,I like the go-cart and the sail he weaved for it. I also liked seeing all the beautiful places we have in Aotearoa.
I like how they all came together to spell Aotearoa at the end.
It makes me proud to a part of Aotearoa.

SLJ day 3 bonus activity

Fun facts about my family, their two favourite things to do in the summer.

Mum : swimming and growing a veggie garden.

Grandy: fishing and playing with grandchildren.

Nana : baking and crafts.

SLJ Day3, Activity2: Acknowledging Ancestry, My Mihi.

SLJ day 3 activity 1 The more, the Merrier ?

If I had 7 or 9 siblings I don't think I would enjoy it, because
would be crowded and there would be lot's of noise.

We will need a big house with lot's of rooms and beds.

But I would enjoy always having someone to play with, that would be nice.
