SLJ W4 D2 A2 Sporting Heroes

I don't really have a sporting hero, but before sky took the V8 super cars, It was kind of  family tradition that on the day of the Bathurst, Dad would by lots of treats, like m&m's and Chips and Lollies and get all set up for the day of the big endurance race on mt panorama with the V8 cars. Our favourite driver was Crag Lounges, He drove a Holden and was sponsored by Vodafone.

MOUNT PANORAMA CIRCUIT

Originally constructed in 1938 as a scenic tourist drive, Mount Panorama has hosted all types of motorsport including the world famous Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, the annual 12 Hour GT race, 24 Hour endurance races and the Easter motorcycle meetings.
The circuit is public road on non-race weekends and has also hosted the Australian Grand Prix in the past. It remains one of the all-time favourite circuits of V8 Supercar drivers and is ranked among the great race tracks of the world.

    Hi Caleb!

    This sounds like a really cool tradition!
    I like that your Dad would go and get treats for food and everything.
    Do you do something new now that it's aired on Sky Tv?

    I can't say I watch much car racing myself but I did visit Indianapolis for a wee bit where they have the Indy 500 - It was really huge event whenever I was there, people dressing up and everything! Is the Mount Panorama Circuit similar? Do people dress up to go?

    This was really cool to read and learn about something new, thanks for the great post Caleb!

    It's quite cool that you got to have a family day like that. We kind of do that when we have movie night every second Friday night.

      Thank you for commenting on my blog, We have a Movie night too, we will get takeaways and watch a movie. I saw the new Tad the explorer at the movies in hoki today. Have you been to the movies these holiday ? What did you see ?.
