SLJ D5, A1 Translating Phrases

#1  Nau mai ki Aotearoa. = Welcome to New Zealand

#2  Caleb is my name.  = Ko Caleb toku ingoa.

#3 What is your name?  = He aha to ingoa?

# 4 He pai taku ki te takaro i te whutupaoro. = I like to play Rugby.

#5 Where do you come from?  = No hea koe?.

    Kei te pēhea koe? Tēnā rawa atu koe!
    Kare au e pai ki te takaro i te whutupaoro, engari e pai ana ahau ki te eke i taku pahikara!
    Ko Gisborne ahau,
    Ko Jordan toku ingoa.

    Well done on translating these phrases Caleb, but do you understand what I've just written above?
