SLJ W2 D5, BA Sweet Tooth

1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup cocoa
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup Chelsea White Sugar
125g butter
2 Tbsp Chelsea Golden Syrup
2 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla essence

Icing:
50g Soft Butter
2Tbsp Water
1Tbsp Cocoa Powder
1 1/2 cups Chelsea Icing Sugar

Preheat oven to 180°C. Mix together the flour, cocoa, baking powder and Chelsea White SugarIn separate bowl add the butter and Chelsea Golden Syrup and melt 1 minute on high in microwave usually does it. In another bowl whisk the eggs and stir in the milk, baking soda and vanilla. Add both the butter mix and the milk mix to dry ingredients and beat on medium for 1 minute. In a 20 cm round tin this takes 50-60 minutes to cook. Cool before icing.
Icing:Whisk butter and Chelsea Icing Sugar together. Add water and cocoa powder. Whisk together (add water slowly to make sure that the icing is the right consistency).

    Can you bake this chocolate cake all on your own, or do you need someone to help you make it? Who helps you to bake?

      I can sort of bake it on my own, but I like mum to be close so I can double check that I am doing the right things. I love to bake and I love to eat what I bake. Do you like to Bake?
